Sign-in in one command
The e-Devlet step cannot be skipped; everything after it is ulgen login. It opens EVREN’s API
keys page, asks for the key, shows the terms and saves the key once EVREN has accepted it.
The coding tools already work well, and EVREN serves capable open-weight models. What is missing is the part in between: signing in, keeping the key safe, accepting the terms, watching the quota, writing the right settings into each tool, and a Turkish interface. Ülgen is that part.

The key stays yours
It is kept in the operating system’s credential store (or a file only you can read), and never written into a tool’s settings file, printed or logged. Claude Code never receives it. See Your key stays yours.
Each tool set up for EVREN
ulgen setup writes the right settings into each tool. Every changed file is backed up first,
--dry-run shows the change without writing it, and --remove undoes it.
The quota in view
ulgen status shows how much of today’s quota is left, and the models.
Says what is wrong
ulgen doctor checks the key, EVREN and every tool, and says what to do about what is wrong.
Turkish and English
Every command follows the system language, Turkish or English.
Linux and macOS:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mftnakrsu/ulgen/main/scripts/install.sh | shWindows (PowerShell):

You need an EVREN account (sign-in is through e-Devlet) and one of the supported tools installed. Then run:
ulgenOn the first run Ülgen signs you in, finds the tools you have installed, asks which one you want, sets it up for EVREN and starts it. Later runs start that tool straight away. What each command does is under Using Ülgen.
| Tool | ulgen setup <name> |
What setup writes |
|---|---|---|
| Qwen Code | qwen |
The EVREN models in settings.json |
| opencode | opencode |
The EVREN provider in opencode.json |
| Codex CLI | codex |
A profile file of its own, evren.config.toml; your config.toml is never written |
| Claude Code | claude |
Only a skill for EVREN workers; ulgen run claude needs no settings file |
Claude Code talks to a translator inside Ülgen on your own machine. Anthropic does not support using Claude Code with other models; this and the other known limits are on the Using Ülgen page.
Ülgen is free software under the AGPL-3.0-only license. The code, the issues and the releases are
on GitHub. The name comes from Ülgen, the creator deity of
Turkic mythology; the command is ulgen.
Ülgen is an independent, non-commercial project. It is not affiliated with SSB, EVREN or the makers of the tools it sets up.
